It could stand for Amazing, but it stands for Amazon which, incidentally, is amazing.

This story is just an example of how keen Amazon has been on keeping the customer first.

One of the company's key strengths is in the wide array of consumers that it understands; so on one hand you have Google which understands its customers' browsing, social behaviour and Facebook which understands its customers' intimate details and their social circles.
Here, Amazon understands something very meaningful about me - what sort of books does she read? Is he willing to buy electronics online? What else can I sell to this class of customers?

I am in awe of the company, and also astonished by its market capitalisation which stands at USD 112 Bn.
