A Case for Buybacks


Berkshire Hathaway, because of Ted Weschler I think, holds 34 M shares or 5.96% of the company.
"DTV has lowered the share count from 1.395 billion in 2005 to what will probably be about 578 million by the end of 2013. That’s an annualized rate of 10.4%! That’s insane!"

And now they announced a USD 4 Bn buyback which is 13.5% of the company.

Sounds like another CEO who ought to be in the next version of the Outsiders.
